'build's Pathway into Construction programmes have helped hundreds of Kirklees residents gain qualifications experience and employment in the construction industry.

'build' has dedicated academies in Huddersfield, Dewsbury and Batley where we deliver courses in Brickword, Joinery, Plumbing, Painting and Decorating, Soler Thermal plumbing and other trades.

Each course is designed to include back-up support to help trainees gain confidence. Life skills, employment search techniques, advice on completing application forms and interview skills are taught.

The courses are run when funding becomes available so there are no set term times. We contact you when we are recruiting and you can decide if the course is of interest and if you wish to apply.

Usually there is no charge for the courses, but there may be conditions for entry (defined by our funders).
