'build' trainees and their tutor and technician, working on a dry stone walling project at Castle Hill, Huddersfield, have won fulsome praise from the Countryside Ranger: Julian Brown.
Julian said of the 'build' team: " These individuals have all come under Nigel’s ever helpful guidance and encouragement and they have proved to be an outstanding team that are building the boundary wall, next to a public right of way.

"You can see how they have used the old and existing stone as required and the height needed for it to be stock proof – all this in four weeks, 2 days per week. "

"I for one I know that these lads are working extremely hard to learn this ancient craft and they have behaved impeccably on site including speaking to visitors who have wanted to know more. ............. but its all credit to Nigel who has shaped this team and Leo has been an inspiration to get these lads in on time to work and supporting whenever he can."
